Driver of the #8 Budweiser Chevrolet in the NASCAR Winston Cup Series
Earnhardt Jr., of Mooresville, N.C., has 11 top-10 finishes in 17 races in 2003 including a victory at Talladega Superspeedway on April 6. He has captured eight career Winston Cup race wins, in addition to several all-star race victories, including the Budweiser Shootout at Daytona in 2003, and “The Winston” all-star event during his rookie season in 2000.
WHAT: Batting Practice & Appearance At CENTURY 21 Home Run Derby
Earnhardt Jr. will take the field with other celebrities and Major League Baseball sponsors for batting practice in the morning, and attend the festivities before the annual home run hitting contest in the evening.
Autograph Session & Media Availability
Earnhardt Jr. will sign autographs and visit with baseball fans at 2:30 at the FanFest at McCormick Place, while a street legal version of the #8 Budweiser Chevrolet will also be on display. Earnhardt Jr. will be available for media interviews at 3:30 at the Fan Fest and then at 5:00 pm prior to the Home Run Derby.
