Charlotte, NC - The final segment for MTV's documentary "True Life/I'm a Race Car Driver" was shot Friday at Lowe's Motor Speedway in Charlotte. The one-hour special will begin airing March 17 (and will repeat numerous times).
The attached photo is MTV's Bill Richmond strapped into a special two-seat Budweiser car with Dale Jr. behind the wheel. Dale Jr. lapped the Charlotte track at an average speed of more than 160 mph with Richmond in the car. |

Additional information: The "Turn Ben Stein On" episode featuring thirty minutes with Dale Jr. will begin airing Thursday, February 15 at 11:30 pm Eastern on Comedy Central. Like the MTV show, it will air repeatedly...
Also, the Dale Jr. "BEYOND THE TRACK" column that appears on NASCAR Online will also begin appearing in the pages of Winston Cup Secene this week. Beginning in February, it will run the same week as it appears on-line.
